What is Canine Chiropractic?
Canine Chiropractic is a non-invasive, drug free approach used by Certified Animal Chiropractors to help your dog’s body to function and perform at its optimal level.
Chiropractic adjustments can help:
*eliminate restriction on the nerves,
*reduce muscle spasm,
*improve circulation,
*alleviate pain,
* improve joint function,
*and improve nervous system function.
All of this will work together to help your fur baby’s body and brain communicate more efficiently!
How do I know if my dog needs a Chiropractic Adjustment?
Dogs communicate their pain and discomfort in ways that are very similar to humans. Often, observation of changes in behavior, gait, appetite or energy level can signal that your dog might be in some level of discomfort and would benefit from Chiropractic care.
The following is a list of some of the most common symptoms that may indicate your dog could benefit from Animal Chiropractic. (Please note this list is not all inclusive/conclusive).
Symptoms Seen in Dogs
Does not like to be touched in certain areas
“Puppy-sitting” past two years of age
Walks with a limp / altered gait
Is slow or stiff upon rising
Joint stiffness
Sudden behavioral changes
Hot spots or excessive licking / scratching on a particular area
Resents/reluctance jumping into or out of the car
Chronic ear infections
Head tilt

Chiropractic adjustments generally do not cause pain. Animals who present with moderate to severe pain may experience some discomfort initially because of the underlying injury or dysfunction, but your animal’s symptoms are taken into consideration while formulating a personalized treatment plan utilizing gentle, safe and effective treatment to allow your companion’s body to heal faster and achieve normal function and mobility.
Per Texas State Law, all animals are required to have a signed veterinary referral form on file before the first chiropractic adjustment may be scheduled. To download your copy, please click HERE
