Dr. Bethany Powell
Dr. Bethany Powell, south Texas native, has been in practice for 10 years and is happy to call the Texas hill country her new home!
After she graduated from Parker University in 2014, she spent her first year of practice working in conjunction with a birthing center in Fort Worth, where most of her patients included pregnant moms and infants. She was frequently asked by the midwives to adjust women during labor to help the process go more smoothly, and to date the youngest baby she adjusted was only hours old!
She was board certified in 2015 by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association, and in 2016 she relocated to western Colorado where she opened her own practice adjusting people and all species of animals. Similar to people, the youngest horse she’s adjusted to date was also only hours old!
Her extensive background in the horse and ranching industries, barrel racing, and show cattle from a young age instilled a passion for animal welfare and husbandry. She loves helping people and animals feel their best and perform at their highest potential! In addition to horses and dogs, she also loves adjusting all other farm and show animals including cattle, pigs, goats, and lambs.
Dr. Bethany strives for optimal health for all members of the family using very gentle, low force chiropractic adjustments to enhance the function of the nervous system & the whole body. She also believes in using other holistic modalities to support healing such as nutrition & supplemental advice, movement and strengthening, and gentle soft tissue techniques as needed.
Dr. Bethany graduated from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and from Parker University with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She is board certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) to practice animal chiropractic, and is certified in the Webster (perinatal) technique by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
